Integrated Manual Therapies
Gentle complementary therapies to support the body, nervous system and overall wellbeing.
Alongside naturopathic and nutritional consultations, I offer selected manual therapies to support a more integrated approach to health.
These therapies are not intended to replace nutritional or medical care. Instead, they can complement a broader naturopathic programme by supporting relaxation, body awareness, digestive comfort, nervous system balance and overall wellbeing.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a gentle complementary therapy based on the stimulation of reflex points, traditionally associated with different areas of the body.
It may be used to support:
- Relaxation
- Stress reduction
- Nervous system balance
- Sleep quality
- Circulation
- Digestive wellbeing
- General vitality
Reflexology can be particularly supportive for individuals experiencing stress, fatigue, hormonal changes, sleep difficulties or a need for deeper relaxation.
Visceral-Somatic Therapy
Visceral-Somatic Therapy is a gentle hands-on approach that considers the relationship between the organs, fascia, nervous system and musculoskeletal structure.
It may help support:
- Digestive comfort
- Abdominal tension
- Body awareness
- Postural tension patterns
- Stress-related holding patterns
- Nervous system regulation
- A greater sense of physical ease
This therapy may be integrated into a wider naturopathic plan where digestive health, stress, tension or body-based symptoms are part of the client’s presentation.
An integrated approach
These therapies are most powerful when used as part of a personalised wellbeing plan.
For example:
- Digestive concerns may be supported through nutrition, gut health guidance and visceral-somatic work.
- Stress and sleep difficulties may be supported through nutritional therapy, lifestyle strategies and reflexology.
- Menopausal wellbeing may be supported through nutrition, herbal or naturopathic support and nervous system regulation.
- Weight-loss journeys may benefit from body awareness, stress support and digestive care.
The aim is to support the whole person, not only the symptom.
